We’re Dan and Amy Smith, Innkeepers and Owners, and we’re delighted to welcome you to our cozy corner of historic McConnelsville, Ohio. Whether you’re a first-time guest to our bed and breakfast or one of our cherished returning visitors, our goal is simple: to make you feel at home from the moment you walk through our doors.

Our story is built on warm hospitality, shared smiles, and the joy of creating a memorable experience for each guest. We’ve lovingly restored our two historic homes, The Stone House and The Morris House, so you can step back in time while still enjoying the modern comforts you deserve. Each room has its own story, carefully decorated to blend historic charm with luxurious relaxation. This is truly a unique place to stay in Ohio.

One of our favorite parts of hosting is sharing a hearty, delicious, hot breakfast around the table each morning. It’s where stories are told, laughter is shared, and new friendships are formed. We take pride in preparing breakfasts that fuel your day and leave you smiling, with flavors that celebrate the best of our kitchen and the warm, welcoming spirit of McConnelsville.

And, of course, no introduction would be complete without mentioning our winged mascot, Percy. Inspired by our love for all things vintage and whimsical, Percy is more than just a symbol—he’s a reminder that here at The Inns at 8th and Main, pigs really do fly!
